Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner - Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently - Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions about the menu - Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner - Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in with them throughout their dining experience - Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service Requirements:
- Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting preferred - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members - Ability to handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations - Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Please note that this position may require standing for long periods of time and lifting trays or other items weighing up to 25 pounds.
