Summary:
We are seeking an individual with senior living experience to assume the role of Renaissance Manager. This person will be responsible for providing leadership and management to staff in the Renaissance department (memory care).

Responsibilities
Renaissance Program
Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate and direct Renaissance programming and assist Resident Services Director in overseeing Renaissance Resident Services.
Assume full responsibility for and regularly reviews Renaissance Programs (Activities, Dining, Person-Centered Care etc.) on a monthly basis to ensure programs are in place as designed and following best practices and proper policies and procedures. Adjusts programs and trains team members through in-services, coaching, and modeling as needed on an on-going basis.
Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout Renaissance.
Be open and flexible to receive new methods and principles while incorporating them into existing policies and procedures.
Embrace the philosophy of Renaissance and to teach the philosophy and practice to all team members so that each Resident receives care and experiences positive interactions in a loving and supportive manner from each team member daily.
Develop and maintain a professional working rapport with all department team members and outside agencies and businesses within the community to assure that the services and activities can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the residents.


Renaissance Resident Services

Ensure that resident rights to fair and equitable treatment, self -determination, individuality, privacy, property and civil rights, including the right to wage a complaint, are followed by all team members.
Have patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents based on their current level of function
Act as liaison with physicians, physician's assistants or nurse practitioners through regularly scheduled review of resident service plans and physician orders in conjunction with Resident Services Director.
Assist Resident Services Director in providing appropriate and timely documentation of resident services and responses, changes in resident condition and service plan changes in accordance with established policy and procedures.
Assist Resident Services Director with necessary forms/charts/assessments upon the residents' move-in, move-out, transfer, etc.
Review resident service plans with Resident Services Director at least monthly and during change of condition to ensure accuracy in needs and delivered care and provide a service plan conference quarterly on a routine basis.


Team Management

Provide supervision and leadership to Renaissance Resident Service Attendants including the hiring, training, scheduling and evaluation of job performance while ensuring Person-Centered Care approaches are being used daily.
Develop monthly and shift schedules for Renaissance Resident Service Attendants by adhering to team member matrix.



Skills
Strong understanding of Alzheimer's and related Dementia
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Minimum one year experience in Geriatric setting and one year supervisory experience and two year experience in dementia care



Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in Gerontology, Psychology, Sociology, or related human services field.
Gerontology Certificate a plus
RCFE Certificate a plus
Activity Leadership Certificate preferred
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
