Client's SDS Team is looking for an experienced Asset Management specialist who can assist our group of high performing technical experts to purchase, implement, deliver and trackinfrastructure assets to support the demand for growth of the Client ecosystem.
The role involves addressing complex business problems by coordinating, facilitating and managing assets, processes, support contracts, and forecasting.
The Asset Manager must be able to navigate between highly processed tasks that require extreme accuracy and detail, managing ambiguity through expert influencing skills and leveraging relationships to achieve results.
The Asset Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the life cycle management of all equipment for effective equipment tracking, utilization, and maintenance.
The position acts as the custodian for all equipment data and supports the operations team with equipment lifecycle management.
DescriptionSupport multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders by delivering infrastructure assets into the Client ecosystem through to their final destination.
Interact with employees at all levels of the organization and possess the judgment and experience to plan and accomplish goals in an environment with multiple priorities.
Be extremely detail oriented, as the Asset Management specialist is the gateway to all Infrastructure Projects.
Delays and inaccuracies can create delays and cost overruns in remote infrastructure implementations.
Track and support infrastructure through its historical lifecycle from purchasing to retirement.
Collaborate with a diverse team of Project Managers, System Administrators, Facilities, Financial Analysts, Procurement, Tax, Legal, Trade Compliance, ContractManufacturers, and Suppliers.
Responsibilities:
Maintain asset management system, keeping it up to date for all equipment assets through their life cycle.
Establish a systematic method to define life cycle of an asset and make recommendations as and when any asset needs to be replaced or retired.
Issues purchase orders in accordance with company policy and the procurement system.
Provides management reports and updates to Senior Management on all asset management functionsIdentify opportunities to reduce maintenance spend and/or re-use opportunities through leveraging real-time dataKey Qualifications3
